He is the American Legion Department of California Vice Commander of Area 5 which consists of Southern California’s 104 American Legions. He is on many Veteran Boards including the American Legion National Media and Communications Committee, the American Legion Department of California Board of Directors, and the Veteran’s Housing Alliance which is active in getting homeless Veterans off the streets, into transitional housing, and eventually utilizing their VA Loan.
David is also entrenched in his community, serving on the Corona Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Corona Chamber Foundation, and the Corona Cinco de Mayo Committee who raise scholarship funds for the local youth. He is the recipient of the Corona’s Making a Difference Award for making a difference in his community by helping veterans and local youth. He has many proclamations for his community service from various Congressmen, State Senators, State Assemblymen, County Supervisors, and City Council.
Helping Veterans get access to their benefits is his mission. Veterans are underserved and do not have the right tools and knowledge to navigate the cumbersome system. Working with County Service Officers and private Claim Experts has given David the knowledge and resources to help hundreds of Veteran families. David is an advocate for Veteran causes and is on the front lines with Congressional and State leaders.

They both have 2 boys, David Jr (24) who just graduated with an MBA from UCR, and Jacob (13) who is in 7th grade. David is a volunteer soccer coach who has coached both of his kids. They enjoy watching basketball, and soccer, enjoy glamping and vacationing together.
